SILVALOY 559

Product Overview

Silvaloy 559 is an intermediate temperature silver braze alloy with a long melting range which allows it to bridge large gaps more effectively. It is mainly used for furnace brazing of stainless steel and in place of Silvaloy 541 where zinc content and possible volatilization is objectionable. Due to its high melting point, it is not preferable for torch brazing applications.
  • Can bridge gaps
  • Intermediate temperature
  • Zinc free

Typical Industry Applications:

Jet engine sub-assemblies, applications where AS9100 certification is required
