SILVALOY 541

Product Overview

Silvaloy 541 is an intermediate temperature brazing alloy that is most suitable for furnace brazing of stainless steel, though it can be used on other non-ferrous materials as well. Silvaloy 541 is commonly used for jet engine sub-assemblies and other applications that have somewhat elevated service temperatures. Due to its wide melting range and high melting point, Silvaloy 541 is sluggish when molten and is not preferable for torch brazing applications.
  • Can bridge gaps
  • High strength
  • Intermediate temperature
  • Typical Industry Applications:

Jet engine sub-assemblies, applications where AS9100 certification is required
