HI-TEMP 820

Product Overview

Hi-Temp 820 is a nickel based braze alloy that is commonly used for high service temperature applications or where good corrosion resistance is required. Due to its narrow melting range, it is best suited for joints with good fit up and can penetrate into longer shear depths. Hi-Temp 820 can be used on many ferrous materials and super alloys. Note that in nuclear equipment, it should not be exposed to radiation due to the boron content in the braze alloy.
  • Corrosion, oxidation, abrasion resistant
  • Lower erosion compared to other nickel alloys

Typical Industry Applications:

Nucelar equipment, turbines, jet engines, chemical processing
