CDA 681

Product Overview

CDA 681 is an economical bronze braze alloy used on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals where where close fit-up cannot be maintained. It is often used for HVAC components though in applications where zinc is objectionable, CDA 521 should be considered. Due to its higher temperature, CDA 681 is prone to longer cycle times compared to standard silver braze alloys.
  • Economical
  • Can bridge gaps
  • Typical Industry Applications:

    Compressors, filter dryers
