Calculating Ring Volume

To produce a proper braze joint, the volume of alloy used must match or exceed the volume of the joint to be brazed. The use of excess alloy adds cost and may require an additional post-machining operation. To ensure consistency in brazing, Lucas-Milhaupt has developed rings of pre-measured braze alloys for each specific application. Choosing Flux for Silver Brazing
