Vacuum Interrupters
Vacuum interrupters look like a large ceramic bottle and typically contain multiple braze joints inside, with shields, movable & stationary contacts, and bellows. They range in size from 2 inch to 7 inch outside diameter, each rated for different levels of current interruption. They are usually assembled in "gangs" of units to interrupt current at the transformer or other high voltage current areas.
